[Silvia] The scariest Bluetooth

As much as I know we share this world with one another I am not certain why many assume we must share everything with each other. For instance: Why would I want to listen to someones conversation on the phone, or hear about their problems?

These are matters of privacy, not publicy. Lately thanks to marvellous invention called cellphones even the public transportation is flooded with wave if loud, obnoxious people. If it would be a single person per bus – it would not be a problem, but so far I have seen many different people talk at the same time through their miniature telephones who seemed to talk to one another without even meeting the topic of conversation – just talking to enjoy the sound of their own voice.

The most scary part about people talking over phone in public places is people with Bluetooth recievers. Most times they appear mentally sick moving around and making gestures as if they were really talking to someone. But you do not get to see the phone, so you assume they are talking to some sort of hallucinations? Think about Italian people who are used to gesticulate a lot. Man waving his arms talking to invisible ghost – it is scary. “Even if you talk over the phone, and not with imaginary frineds – the persone who you are talking to cannot see you. So stop flailing your arms around so much. Thank you” - kind of thing.

This really becomes a nuisance when such people appear on public busses and decide to talt to their friends and relatives. If they cannot see them other way – fine – but everyone else could limit talking over phone in public at least a little.
I think it has something to do with phenomenon of social networks – like Facebook. Just think of people who write whatever they are doing on said page, or on Twitter. They want to be affirmated by other in a world  where appearance means everything. It isn't important what you say, but just to be visible.

I personally like to talk, I love sharing opinions, but I understand that people around me may not wish to know what I am talking about or more importantly may wish to enjoy some silence. It allowes me to think and reflect on many things, and people who talk over their cellphones distract me from these thoughts. Therefore we should act accordingly to a saying: Thinking has a future! So stop talking and start thinking. Even if you won't come up with any great ides – you will still be a granting us all some silence to think.
