On 8th of April we had a privilage to hold international workshop for kids together with Akademia Przyszłości at Uniwersytet Wrocławski, Wrocław, Poland. The meeting began shortly after arrival of two main guests - Guido Giacomo Gattai, the Italian, and Sami Jan, the Pakistani. The main topic? How did they spend their childhood and if they liked their stay in Poland.

Sami and Guido answered a series of questions explaining to their new Polish friends how did they get to school, what was their favourite subject and why did they decide to move to Poland. It appears that most surprising answer yet was Guido's who stated with confidence that Wrocław is more beutiful than Paris, and that it is much nicer city to live in.
- The biggest advantage is Polish freshness - Guido said. - In Wrocław you still have ability to come up with your own idea instead of trying to fit in like it is in the western Europe.
Sami shared with kids his favourite tale about a boy who traveled through the sky, discovering enchanted kingdoms settled on clouds. Later on our two honorable guests helped kids prepare posters inviting foreigners to come and live in Poland. This time it was Guido who was surprised when one of participants asked him how should they spell pizza in Italian language. Yet it was Sami who stole the show with beauiful Nasta'liq script.
Akademia Przyszłości activists and students of pedagogy: Ola, Aleksandra, Emilia, Mateusz and Agata helped to hold the event, took care of children and had fun!
The meeting came to an end when kids had finished their little artworks. Everyone had a great time, and not only our young audience had a laugh but they also learned something new about foreign cultures.
